There kitty, kitty

If this cat came and sat on my bed, I think I'd encourage it to move, possibly by using strategically-placed tuna on other people's beds.  And then lock my door behind it.

I was chatting to a mate today about the right-to-die debate that is going on.  We agreed that there needs to be some sort of government quango set up to manage it, headed by a Death Czar.  And he should orbit the Earth.

One of the unpublished letters to the Telegraph in my birthday book made me laugh out loud:

"Try not to get stuck behind Satan in the Post Office queue.  The Devil takes many forms."

I wish, I wish I'd thought of that.

That line about the Devil in the post office made me laugh, a rare occurence for me sadly. I wish I had thought of it too :)

I am totally going to write that line down because it is a classic. I sat there a minute and then burst and laughing. (Yes, I'm a little slow.)

How odd..I have been watching House, MD on DVD and watched the episode with the cat that predicted death. A death czar? Ummmm, I think the devil might just have a thing or two to say about that~!

Spence, I was reading the book in bed, and lay there giggling like a fool for quite a long time afterwards.

HHS - hello! It is brilliant, and keeps making me smile.

Yes, the cat thing is frankly mental. Someone else mentioned the House episode to me, something to do with feverish people being warmer and cosier to sit with?

Either way, that ghoulish feline would get a kick up the arse from me if it started eyeing my bed speculatively.
